This week, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink was in Toronto for the Canada Investment Summit, alongside investors managing more than **$100 trillion in assets.**

Around his visit, **Larry and I had a conversation about Bitcoin.**

The timing was interesting.

Because while many retail investors are still debating whether Bitcoin is too expensive or waiting for another opportunity to buy, approximately **$1.08 billion has flowed into BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, over just the last 20 days.**

**$1 Billion. 20 Days.**

To be clear, this isn’t BlackRock taking $1 billion from its corporate treasury and buying Bitcoin.

It’s investor capital flowing through **BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF.**

And I actually think that’s the more important story.

One of the largest financial institutions on Earth has built the infrastructure for investors to own Bitcoin—and serious capital is using it.

IBIT has grown into a massive holder of Bitcoin.

Yet I still hear people say:

**“I’m waiting for Bitcoin to become safer.”**

**“I’m waiting for another crash.”**

**“I think I missed it.”**

My question is:

**What exactly are you waiting for?**

**Look at How Much Has Changed**

When I first bought Bitcoin around **$1.07**, there was no BlackRock Bitcoin ETF.

Wall Street wasn’t building Bitcoin products.

Most people had never even heard of Bitcoin.

Today, some of the largest pools of capital in the world can get Bitcoin exposure through traditional financial markets.

But one thing hasn’t changed:

**21 Million Bitcoin.**

That’s the maximum supply.

Institutional demand can grow.

The number of investors can grow.

The amount of capital chasing Bitcoin can grow.

**The supply cannot.**

**This Is the FOMO That Matters**

I’m not talking about watching Bitcoin jump 10% and panic-buying.

Bitcoin can fall significantly. ETF flows can reverse. Nothing about its future price is guaranteed.

I’m talking about looking at what’s happening structurally.

Bitcoin spent years trying to get Wall Street’s attention.

**Now Wall Street is buying.**

And there are still people sitting on the sidelines waiting for Bitcoin to become mainstream.

**I think mainstream is already here.**

I’ve watched Bitcoin for nearly 15 years.

I’ve seen it dismissed, laughed at, declared dead and eventually embraced by some of the biggest names in global finance.

And I believe we’re still early.

**More than $1 billion into BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF in 20 days.**

**21 million Bitcoin. Forever.**

You can wait.

**The supply won’t.**

**My view hasn’t changed: think long, act early. — Prakash**
