I created the BitcoinBlack Credit Card to solve a problem I had myself: owning Bitcoin was easy—actually spending it wasn't.
I didn't want to sell Bitcoin, move money back into my bank account, wait for transfers, and then use a traditional credit card. I wanted a simple way to access the value of my Bitcoin and use it in everyday life.
That's why we built BitcoinBlack.
Today, I believe it's one of the simplest ways to spend your Bitcoin anywhere major credit cards are accepted—whether that's dinner, travel, shopping, hotels or everyday purchases.
Bitcoin shouldn't just be something you buy and stare at in a wallet. As adoption grows, the infrastructure around Bitcoin needs to become just as easy to use as the traditional financial system.
That's what we set out to build.
